Refund and Wait list Disclaimer

Cancellation/Refunds
By signing up for a program you understand that you will not be able to receive a refund unless the Recreation Department cancels the class.

If you cancel the class five (5) business days before the class starts, you can receive a credit on your recreation account, minus a $25 non-refundable fee. If you cancel one to four (1-4) days before the class starts,you will not receive a credit or refund. Account credits do not expire.

Refunds will not be issued due to weather conditions, however, Lancaster Recreation will work to reschedule, if possible. Make up sessions can not be guaranteed. We are not responsible for making up classes missed due to the participants inability to attend. If a program is canceled by Lancaster Recreation, you will have the option to receive a account credit for future programming or a refund check. All refunds requests need to be submitted in writing to the Recreation Department.

 
The credit card processing fee associated with all transactions will not be refunded. 

Minimum Participation
Each program has a minimum participation commitment to reach for the program to run. Lancaster Recreation can cancel any program seven (7) days prior to the program start date due to the minimum participation commitment not being reached.
 
Wait Lists
If you are added to a wait list and an opening becomes available, we will automatically send an email to the first person on the list. If you receive a wait list email, you will have 24 hours to respond and register for the program. After 24 hours, the next person on the wait list will be notified and we will move down the list until the spot has been filled.
