Discovering Dinosaurs (Ages 3-5): 9/20 - 10/25 9am- 10am $81 How is a Tyrannosaurs Rex different from a Triceratops? Is it just in their physical characteristics or is it also what they ate and when they lived? In Discovering Dinosaurs, yourlittle paleontologists will explore what dinosaurs ate and when they lived while constructing theirvery own dinosaur model out of DUPLO? blocks. Through stories, building, and games, yourlittle learners will be busy exploring the prehistoric world while gaining critical social anddevelopmental skills without even realizing it!   Junior Builders (Ages 3-6): 11/1 - 12/13 (no session 11/29) 9am - 10am $100 Does your little learner love to tinker and create new things? If so, they’re going to love Snapology’sJunior Builders program! This program will give your learner opportunities to build functional models of amusement park rides, boats, ramps, cars and so much more using DUPLO® blocks! As your learner works alongside other little engineers, they will be learning the importance ofteamwork and how collaboration is an essential component of engineering and design. This program will introduce even the newest of students to a safe, collaborative, and creative classroom environment.   Science of Superpowers (Ages 5-12): 9/27 10:15am - 12:15pm $45 In Snapology's Science of Superpowers program, students explore the world of their favoritesuperheroes. Students will learn about physics, forces, energy, and problem solving as they build models inspired by Superman, Batman, and all their favorite heroes, using LEGO® bricks. Experimentation and fun are crucial components of this ‘super’ educational program!    Amusement Park Engineering (Ages 7-14): 10/11 10:15am - 12:15pm $45 We bet your child loves the excitement of amusement parks — the fast rides, the sudden drops, the dizzying spins! But have they ever wondered about the science behind those thrills, or the engineers who design them? In Snapology’s Amusement Park Engineering class, students will step into the shoes of real engineers, using LEGO® bricks to design and build their very own rides. Along the way, they’ll explore core physics and engineering concepts that make each ride safe, functional, and — most importantly — fun!   Combat Robots (Ages 7-14): 11/1 - 11/22 10:15am - 11:15am $115 Can your child build the ultimate battle robot? In Snapology’s Combat Robots program, students will design and build their own robots using LEGO® bricks, then put them to the test in fun, friendly competitions. Along the way, they’ll explore engineering concepts like strong structures, gears, motors, and the Engineering Design Process—all while problem-solving, experimenting, and learning how to balance speed with power. Best of all, they’ll gain teamwork and collaboration skills as they work with peers to plan, build, and improve their creations. It’s hands-on engineering, critical thinking, and tons of fun rolled into one exciting program!

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM    Archery - Archery
On the Mark Archery: Archery is back! Enjoy the crisp fall weather and sign up for group archery classes with On the Mark Archery on Friday evenings to relax and release stress. This unique program will teach you the fundamentals of traditional recurve shooting with plenty of practice, drills and games that blend together to make it a safe, fun and fast-paced introduction to one of the world’s oldest sports. All equipment provided and class is led by teams of certified USA Archery instructors. Join On the Mark Archery and learn the martial art of archery using beautiful wooden recurve bows to focus more on the form and technique rather than just the aiming. Build character, self-esteem and confidence with each triumph and tribulation on the range as you work hard to achieve consistent success! Unique lesson plans implement skill building drills with unique games that include prizes to keep students engaged throughout the program. All equipment provided and class is led by teams of certified USA Archery instructors. This unique Olympic sport is one of the fastest growing across America and is easy to learn, but difficult to master. The thrill of shooting a bow is unlike any other body mind experience and it involves form elements and strategy similar to golf, yoga, martial arts and even chess! All equipment is provided and this course is led by certified USA Archery instructors. We work with over 100 different organizations throughout Massachusetts, including many recreation departments, schools and nonprofit organizations to offer this sport as a unique intramural / structured extracurricular activity. The concept of what we do has become so popular that even large corporations now hire us to help fill the need for an exciting team building activity that can be used at special events to train executives and employees alike.  We teach traditional recurve archery similar to the discipline used in the Olympics, but with beautiful wooden recurve bows to focus more on the form and technique rather than just the aiming. More importantly, it is great character building for the kids (and adults / parents, too!) to learn this martial art. Classes are designed to meet once a week for one hour, indoors or outside, and we need access to a given site about an hour before and after to assemble and remove the archery range as it has grown in size over time with all of the equipment.

Along the way, they’ll explore core physics and engineering concepts that make each ride safe, functional, and — most importantly — fun!   Combat Robots (Ages 7-14): 11/1 - 11/22 10:15am - 11:15am $115 Can your child build the ultimate battle robot? Along the way, they’ll explore engineering concepts like strong structures, gears, motors, and the Engineering Design Process—all while problem-solving, experimenting, and learning how to balance speed with power. Best of all, they’ll gain teamwork and collaboration skills as they work with peers to plan, build, and improve their creations.
