Program DescriptionThe Winter Shooting Lab is a four-week, small-group basketball shooting program designed to give players the high-volume repetitions that can be difficult to get during traditional team practices.Each 60-minute session will utilize two automated basketball shooting/rebounding machines with a maximum of six players per session—just three players per machine. Players will work through structured shooting sessions focused on catch-and-shoot opportunities, footwork, shooting from multiple locations, game-speed shots, and building consistency and confidence.Shooting Lab ChallengePlayers will complete a standardized shooting challenge, track their shooting percentage, establish personal bests, and measure their improvement throughout the four weeks.We’ll maintain a Shooting Lab leaderboard and recognize accomplishments such as Top Shooter, Most Improved, Hot Streak, and Personal Best. The goal won’t just be competing against other players—it will also give each player something measurable to work toward each week and an opportunity to beat their own previous performance. We’ll wrap up the four-week session with recognition and prizes.**The grade guidelines are based on the strength needed to comfortably shoot over the shooting machine’s return net so that every registered player can fully participate and get the most out of the program.
