The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide first aid, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and safely and effectively use an automated external defibrillator (AED). Training may be delivered through blended learning, traditional classroom instruction, or self-guided learning formats. All delivery methods adhere to the same science-based standards and result in issuance of the same course completion certification.
