Safe Sitter® is not just a class. It's a cause. The only national training program devoted to preparing young pre teens and teens to be safe in unsupervised settings, whether home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. We provide medically-accurate, developmentally-appropriate, and regularly updated curriculum. The class does include CPR for an child and infant, but does not certify them in CPR. It also includes, Business etiquette, Child care essentials, Safety for the sitter, Injury management (first aid), Preventing problem behavior and Care of the Choking Infant and Child.
A Life Vac is used during this class and can be purchased directly from the presenter the day of the class.
Lunch is included in the cost of the class. Pizza, soft drinks, water, and cookies will be served. Please inform us if there are any food allergies we should be aware of. Class participant is welcome to bring water and a snack.
