E2 (Engineering Explorers) & Legends and Love-- If a child loves to build things or destroy them, this week includes lots of both! The junior engineers will design & build bridges & "skyscrapers" using simple tools and their imagination. Kids will even construct a geodesic dome big enough for all the campers to sit inside! Then the machine madness starts as they discover, build, and invent simple machines, & solve problems with contraptions. & From sea creatures of the deep to phoenixes in the sky, every society has its legends and lores. We'll tell their stories through paintings, sculptures, and other works of art. These tales may inspire awe, curiosity, or surprise, but they all inspire our imaginations. Each class is all about designing a one-of-a-kinds mythical creature. Let your imagination soar as you explore myths from diverse cultures and tell your own story. We'll tell their stories through paintings, sculptures, and other works of art. These tales may inspire awe, curiosity, or surprise, but they all inspire our imaginations. Lancaster Recreation’s 2026 Summer Program Series! 9 weeks of fun: June 21, 2026 – August 21, 2026 Full-Day & Half-Day options available most weeks Early Drop-Off & Extended Day options also available! Give your kids a summer full of adventure, creativity, and friendship!
