They won’t just catch ’em all—they’ll build, analyze, and imagine them all! Students will take on game-inspired building challenges that encourage thoughtful planning, creativity, and collaboration. By sharing their creations in a supportive, low-pressure setting, Students build confidence and strengthen communication skills. What Students Will Learn Building Strong Structures Critical Thinking Skills  Presentation Skills Teamwork & Partner Skills Saturday, 6 June 2026 10 am - 12 Noon Age: 5-12 years Fidget Spinner Workshop   Fidget spinners are both fun and mesmerizing! Snapology’s Fidget Spinner Workshop will teach your child how to make his or her own version of this popular toy! Not only will the children learn how to make their own Fidget spinner toy using  LEGO® bricks, but they will also get to play with it, share their builds with others in the class and make fun modifications to the fidget spinners! What children will learn:• Bearings & FrictionStudents will learn about all the parts that come together to make a fidget spinner and be challenged to create their own version out of LEGO® bricks. In doing this, students will be able to identify the major components in their own design and explain how the center bearing allows their spinner to rotate effortlessly.•Fostering Creative DesignAfter learning the basics of fidget spinner design, students will be challenged to create a more advanced version of the basic spinner build. This process will require students to experiment with trial and error modification to assist in their creative designs.• Fidget Spinner EtiquetteStudents will be asked to think about the implications of using fidget spinners at inappropriate times and how their attention can be affected by the use of this toy. They will also work together to determine a reasonable set of rules for using the fidget spinner in and out of the classroom.• CollaborationAll of the most successful inventors have been influences by the work of others, and this includes your student! As students work on developing their own fidget spinner creations, they will be encouraged to investigate what their peers are building in order to further the development of their own design.
