Snapology! - Robopets
1/17 10AM- 12PM: Robopets, Ages 4-7
In this robotics program, students will build simple, animal-inspired machines that are controlled by icon-based program codes. Students will be taught some fundamental engineering and programming concepts as they build goofy animals and design perfect habitats to protect their new robotic friends. While coding, students will also learn and be able to make their favorite robotic pets make silly and funny noises! In this series of classes, students will build various robotic animals such as a Giraffe and a Fish!
Through hands-on activities and teamwork, students will:
Develop basic programming skills using icon-based coding
Learn key mechanical concepts such as gears, sensors, and motors
Practice following instructions and building focus
Strengthen communication and collaboration skills with peers
1/24 10AM- 12PM: Creature Creators, Ages 7-14
Does your child love animals, creativity, and hands-on projects? In Snapology’s Creature Creators Robotics program, students will bring their favorite creatures to life using LEGO® bricks, sensors, and coding! From designing walking pets to building animals that move, roar, or react to touch, kids will explore how imagination and technology work together in exciting ways. This program is designed to be a welcoming, confidence-building environment where every child can see themselves as a creator, coder, and engineer. The curriculum intentionally highlights creativity, collaboration, and playful problem-solving—an approach proven to engage students who may not initially think of themselves as “STEM kids.”Working with a partner, students will learn how to:
Use a Scratch-based coding platform to make their creatures move and respond
Understand mechanical elements like gears, sensors, and motors
Strengthen problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
Explore how engineering and coding can express creativity and imagination
2/7 10AM- 12PM: KinderBots: Catapult & Goal Kicker, Ages 4-7
Your little engineer will love exploring the exciting world of robotics in Snapology’s KinderBots program! In this beginner-friendly class, students will build simple robotic models that teach the fundamentals of engineering and programming — all while having tons of fun. Children will learn how motors and sensors work together to bring their creations to life.
Through hands-on activities and teamwork, students will:
Develop basic programming skills using icon-based coding
Learn key mechanical concepts such as gears, sensors, and motors
Practice following instructions and building focus
Strengthen communication and collaboration skills with peers
2/28 10AM- 12PM: GameBots, Ages 7-14
Get ready for some friendly competition in Snapology’s GameBots Robotics program! In this game-focused robotics class, students will design, build, and program robots to compete in fun challenges and games with their classmates. Working in teams, young engineers will explore how sensors, motors, and gears work together while developing essential programming and problem-solving skills.
Through engaging, hands-on activities, students will:
Build and program robots using a Scratch-based coding platform
Learn to debug and modify their code to make their robots perform better
Understand key mechanical elements like gears, axles, and sensors
Strengthen teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills

Scoops Lacrosse - Scoops Lacroose FREE CLINIC Scoops Lacrosse will be running a 6-week super cool winter lacrosse clinic open to boys and girls ages 3-8, Scoops Clinics are designed for kids who are interested in learning as well as continuing their development of lacrosse. Kids will be broken into different groups based on age and/or skill levels. Most importantly, Scoops Clinics are designed for maximum amounts of fun, confidence building, and pure lacrawsomeness.
The only equipment necessary is a lacrosse stick. We are pad free at Scoops. At Scoops, we like to say, it’s sticks and smiles, and if you bring your stick, we’ll deliver the smile.
